University of Auckland Fale

Wikipedia tells us "a fale (pronounced fah-lay), is a traditional Samoan thatched roof house. Traditional fales do not have walls." This Fale was built as the focus for the Centre of Pacific Studies at the University. Its architect was Ivan Mercep of JASMAX, (2004).
