Butterfly Creek

A tropical butterfly house was the centrepiece of this entertainment venue built over a wetland. Then they bought some real life crocodiles! Also a petting zoo, which they call a farmpark. a playground, and a miniature train. Some consider the entire experience here rather pricey but it is possible to pick and choose activities. NZ Places favourite option would just be to sit in the friendly and healthy cafe and watch kids playing in an atmosphere that seems worlds away from an international airport but is in fact next door. Great space to have a snack and a bit of downtime for anyone travelling to and from the airport. Kids parties and also conferences are held here.
