Waiotira Golf Course

Waiotira golf club is a 9 hole golf course founded in 1947. Waiotira was originally named "KIEOWAI" Golf Club which was a combination of names representing Waikiekie and Waiotira districts.

This was changed to "WAIOTIRA" Golf Club at a special meeting later in its first season of golf and has been called Waiotira ever since.
