Kauri Timber building

Constructed in 1882 as headquarters store and showroom for what was then an important industry, the handsomeKauri timber Building has been complemented with a 21st Century addition designed by Fearon Hay. The original building was once connected by a bridge at first floor level across the street to the sawmill and manufacturing complex.
