Charlesworth Houses

Eight of the nine houses in this group making an important contribution to the Oriental Bay townscape remain. Most were built in 1906. Number 194 is the most original; the others have been considerably modified. Joshua Charlesworth, the designer of the Wellington Town Hall, was the architect. The houses are part of the Oriental Parade Historic Precinct.
