Alison Park

Alison Park is situated at the western end of Oneroa, and is bordered on three sides by Ocean View Road, Mako Street and Kuaka Street. The fourth boundary adjoins a walkway linking Mako Street with Kuaka Street.Much of the reserve is open grassland, with specimen trees and copses of shrubs having been planted in selected areas. A major planting programme is currently under way on both banks of the smaller stream, involving native trees and shrubs. The larger stream occupies a narrow and deep gully which supports a mixed native-exotic forest up to the eastern boundary..
