Speights Brewery

Speights started brewing beer here in 1876 and makes much of producing the beer for the southern man, though now all its canned and bottled beer is brewed in Christchurch.
An interesting 1.5 hour tour of the working brewery (produces draught beer) and their museum includes tasting in the entry fee. When you reach the corner of Rattray and Princes Street, you are in the area of the early centre of business and shopping in Dunedin.
