Villa Maria is a major New Zealand winemaker and exporter with vineyards in Auckland, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Marlborough. It was founded by Croatian George Fistonich in 1961. Sitting inside an extinct volcano crater its new Auckland winery and head office near the airport is also an events venue. There is a Café overlooking the vineyard. The cellar shop is open seven days except for major holidays.
