Zig Zag Track

Take a switchback path from the small carpark close to Titirangi village through reserve down to French Bay - Otitori. It is supposed to take 30 minutes each way but fit folk might find it a bit shorter.

There are prevention measures in place here to halt the spread of kauri dieback. This track inspired James Littlewood's summary of the Waitakere Ranges - Te Wao Nui a Tiriwa found on the Arataki Visitor Centre page.
