Anatini - Aslan's Camp

Another part of the Vanished World Heritage Trail, there are whale fossils here, part of an ancient subterranean world, 28 million years old or more, lifted up and now part of this inland farm. The Vanished World information posts tell much more.
The same place is also a set from the Disney 2005 film 'The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.' This place featured as the lair of Aslan, the lion.
The Vanished World site here is down a short track into a canyon, the bottom of which was used as Aslan's camp. In the film, the fabulous talking Lion greets visitors from amongst the coloured tents of his camp.
