2 Moir Street, Mangawhai, Auckland
Mangawhai Tavern is a classic Northland Heritage Pub, which much in common with others of it's ilk, like the one at Hikurangi.
Essentially, this pub was put in 1885, and like the Kauri trees it was built from, is still going strong. Still hosting local bands and still serving up Sunday Roasts. They host karaoke, and they have an annual shearing competition.
