Kumeu River Wines

The first vineyard at Kumeu River was established in 1944 by Mick and Kate Brajkovich who emigrated to New Zealand from Yugoslavia in 1938. More than 60 years on it’s still a family business and the big, bold chardonnays crafted by grandson Michael are popular in New Zealand and overseas, even being stocked in specialist wine shops in New York’s Greenwich Village.
