The Saffron restaurant on Arrowtown's main street has been listed by Conde Nast magazine in its top 100, of the world's most exciting restaurants. It is owned and operated by ex pat Australian Peter Gawron and his partner Melanie Hill. Saffron Restaurant is included as a stop in the Arrowtown tour on the DayOut IPhone App.
