Yarrow Stadium - Stadium Taranaki

New Plymouth's venue for major sporting events - previously Rugby Park. There was significant controversy in 2018 around the earthquake safety of the two stands but the park remained open. To walk from central New Plymouth to the stadium takes approximately 25-minutes. Follow Devon Street West to the Dawson Street intersection, and then walk up Dawson Street to Frankley Road. From there, Maratahu Street is the first road on the right. The route will be signposted. Public Transport Shuttle buses travel between the Bus Centre on central New Plymouth's Ariki Street and the stadium on nominated major event days, taking about five-minutes each way.
