Wairoa Loop Track

A 3 hours return (6.5 km) walk in the Hunua Ranges Park. Climb gently through the forest to look across Mangatawhiri reservoir. An old metalled road then takes you past a radio repeater station. The track then follows a small stream back down to the Wairoa river.
