Paparoa National Park

A relatively small park (30,000 hectares), Paparoa is situated between Westport and Greymouth on the South Island's West Coast. It offers easy coastal walks and some longer tracks into the back country. Canoeing and caving are other possible activities. The park encompasses some unusual land-forms, including the plate-like coastal formations the area is well known for.
