Westland Tai Poutini National Park Department of Conservation and I-site Visitor Centre

The terrain of Westland Tai Poutini National Park runs the gamut from remote alpine peaks to coastal wetlands teeming with wildlife. High in the Southern Alps are the sources of the much-visited Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers, along with mountaineering and ski touring opportunities for those who are fit and experienced.

Here at 63-69 Cron Street Franz Josef are adjoining facilities for the Department of Conservation, I-site, Glacier Country (local Tourism organisation) and next door are Hot Pools. This is a new and advanced facility which should serve the needs of most travellers.
