Snakes and Ladders

A steep bank is the setting for a playground with a snakes and ladders theme. Four slides, stepping beams and ladders recreate the board game. Spin the dice at the bottom and the children advance on numbered wooden stepping stones. If they land on a ladder they get to climb up, and if it's a snake (a wiggly slide), they slide down again. Native planting is intermixed through the play area to tie in with the natural coastal setting. The playground is on the Rotary Walkway.
