Rippon Vineyard

One of the first Central Otago vineyards, Rippon first developed a reputation for its pinot noir, in particular. It produces Gewurztraminer, Rosé, Merlot/Syrah, Osteiner, Sauvignon Blanc, and Chardonnay. In recent years its Riesling has proved this is a variety to watch out for from Central Otago.
Rippon Hall is a wedding and events venue. The location is distinguished by its outstanding position overlooking Lake Wanaka. Not only is it stunning visually but it also provides an ideal environment to grow grapes. Central Otago is New Zealand’s only viticultural region with a truly “continental” climate.
In 2019 Rippon was listed as the best vineyard in Australasia to visit and number 8 on the world list.
