Whangarei Heads - Mount Manaia

From the town of Whangarei the heads are a 35km trip on a winding road, but the scenery justifies it and several walks are possible at its end, with the best being a two and a half -hour return climb to the top of Mt Manaia.From here you get spectacular views.
