Woodlands Homestead and Gardens

The gothic style Woodlands homestead was built in the 1870s for Henry Reynolds, manager and part-owner of the 98,000 acre Woodlands estate. Development of the surrounding countryside involved converting about 11,00 hectares of swamp into pasture. The homestead and gardens, the latter containing some magnificent trees, can be visited by the public. - Entry Fee is $5 for adults
