Riwaka Memorial Reserve

Riwaka Memorial Reserve is located at the corner of State Highway 60 and School Road in Riwaka and covers just over one and a half hectares.
For most of us who drive by the Riwaka Memorial Reserve, the thing we notice most are the impressive gates at the main entrance. They are a fitting tribute to the local people who gave their lives for their country in World Wars I and II.  Just inside the gates is a peaceful area of garden and trees, perfect to sit and rest a while.

Sports

Along the western part of the reserve, closest to the Highway are tennis courts and croquet lawns.

Dog Prohibited Area

Dogs are prohibited on this reserve.There are many places within Tasman District to exercise your dog, both on and off the leash. Dogs are prohibited in several beach and reserve areas, and other areas require leash control.
