Princes Gate Boutique Hotel Rotorua

An institution of Rotorua hospitality, which used to live in Waihi.

Named for it's proximity to the Prince's Gate Rotorua Landmark, this was originally the New Central Hotel of Waihi, and had a fascinating history in the gold town. The entire 75 room hotel was completely dismantled and brought to Rotorua in 1917 by horse and cart. It took three years to put back together.
