16 Huia Street, Taihape, Rangitikei
Built in 1911, this was once the Methodist church. It now houses a museum focusing on the history of the district. It is open in the afternoon on Sundays, on Public and School holidays and on request. The museum presents displays in the Christmas Parade, the A & P Show, and holds tour groups with school students.
Taihape has Rail Heritage, and plenty of Railway Houses.
