Bremner Bay to Penrith Beach

A breathtaking view of the mountains.

On this track you see modern holiday houses, which could never be described as cribs, and some permanent homes. A convenient seat allows you to wonder at the enormous panoramic view from Mt Roy to Treble Cone to Black Peak and Fog Peak. Roches-moutonnées (rounded rock outcrops carved into the shape of crouching sheep by the power of grinding glaciers) rise up on the far side of the lake; to the right is the forbidding mass of the Peninsula and the jagged peak of Mt Aurum.
