Whitireia Park

Whitireia Park, in Porirua city, is a headland with commanding views over Mana Island and Porirua Harbour. Walkers can loop around the headland in 2-3 hours following a track around its edge. At the Titahi Bay end the walking route leaves the road from the end of Richard Street which is joined by a right-of-way to Lambley Rd. (see map).

Onehunga Bay is a popular picnic/bathing spot. The headland is exposed to northerly winds.
