Hoffman Kiln

A wonderful example of 'industrial archaeology" this Hoffman Kiln used for continuous brick making was built in 1904using bricks produced on the site.
The capacity of the kiln was 9,000 bricks per day.
In 2015 a new roof was installed after the original roof collapsed in a storm.
The site is now managed by acommunity trust.
