Puke Ariki Visitor Centre Museum and Library

A custom built, fully-integrated information centre library and museum opened in 2003. If you are interested in Taranaki stories Puke Ariki is a must visit. Puke Ariki stands on what was a great pa site, Puke Ariki (The Hill of the Chief).
The street-front café is a great place to breakfast. Taranaki tourist information i-site is in the complex.

The architect was Paul Goldsmith with landscape planning by Isthmus.
