Middlemarch - Otago Central Rail Trail

Middlemarch is the start or end of the Otago Central Rail trail. The trail follows the Otago Central Branch railway line for 150kms from Middlemarch to Clyde. It is a unique facility for mountain-bikers and walkers alike, a great one for long distance rides.

Twice a week you can get here from Dunedin on the Taieri Gorge Railway.
