290 Courtenay Street, Strandon, Strandon, New Plymouth
One of New Zealand's oldest buildings with a direct connection with the establishment of the Church of England in New Zealand. Frederick Thatcher, Bishop Selwyn's architect, is thought to have had some input into its design. It is now used by the local potter's society as a gallery. The vicarage can be visited as a short side trip from the Te Henui Walkway.
