Timona Park

River swimming in the Oroua River, picnics, a children's playground and a number of sports grounds feature within a 24 hectare park created by the Fielding Borough Council.

Freedom Camping for two nights is allowed here.

A riverside walkway which connects this park with nearby Johnston Park was given a makeover in 2019, doing away with blackberries and other scrub which had virtually swallowed it up.

There is also a community run orchard here, working bees are on Sunday mornings.
