Mangaone Walkway - Northern End

This 8 km (3hr) walk following the Mangaone Stream and the Waikanae River goes through attractive bush on the boundary of the Kaitawa Scenic reserve at its southern end. Otherwise it passes through forest that is regenerating after timber milling. Be prepared to get your feet wet.
