Otaki Gorge Road, Akatarawa-Otaki, Kapiti Coast
Sheridan Creek is the location of a 1930s logging site, complete with log hauler, railway formation and timber mill site. The site was abandoned in the late 1930s but remains New Zealand’s best and most complete example of an early logging industry still on its original site.
