Lake Opouahi

"Opouahi is a little gem of a lake 11 kms from the turnoff from State Highway 2, just past the Tutira Store. It may pay to take note of the kilometres because its easy to drive blissfully by. You'll find an intersection about 7 kms in from the State Highway which doesn't mention Opouahi - turn left and head up 4 kms of gravel road and it's on the right.
