Nisbet Park is a great local park, offering a fair amount of running around area, a playground, drinking fountain, local artwork, off street parking with a decent toilet.

This is also a great stopping point if traveling further north, with the convenience of petrol and refreshments across the road, plenty of room to stretch the legs for both young and old.
