18 Queens Gardens, Dunedin Central, Dunedin Central, Dunedin City
A statue of Queen Victoria presides over ‘her’ gardens; another statue commemorates the first minister of Knox Church, the Reverend D. M. Stuart. Most significant, though, for Dunedin citizens is the Cenotaph of white marble. It is here they gather at dawn on Anzac Day to remember the soldiers who died in the First and Second World Wars.
