Formosa Auckland Country Club

New Zealand's longest and most challenging PGA-rated golf course. Designed by Bob Charles, has hosted the NZ Open. This Golf Resort has been through a lot of changes since it's early days as Auckland's most exclusive Country Club, hosting massive weddings with guests choppering in and out. The management has changed several times and the environment has changed around it, the resort is now abutted by the growing town of Beachlands. The facilities, including a restaurant, fitness club, accommodation and pool, are sometimes in top condition, other times less so, but the golf course is always pristine and outstanding, even in poor weather.
