Taumarunui Golf Course

Taumarunui’s golf course, ‘Tarrangower’, dates back to the early 1920s and has developed into a very attractive all weather course featuring 18 holes of undulating fairways of park like appearance. Each hole represents a different challenge with the tree lined fairways leading to well guarded target greens.

As well as providing an excellent golfing experience, Taumarunui Golf Club is a popular venue for a range of events such as weddings, corporate and client functions, reunions etc. We are happy to take bookings for your Christmas function as well. Our bar facilities and staff are included in the hire package and no surcharge is added to our standard bar prices. Our kitchen has full facilities for catering.

The picturesque setting of the Clubhouse and course makes it a venue with that special factor, especially for weddings as it provides an amazing backdrop for photos.

The spacious Clubhouse area means functions can continue unhindered, even if the weather doesn’t come up to scratch for your event.
