Mangakino Golf Course is a flat undulating 9 hole easy walking course with picturesque views of Lake Maraetai and the nearby forests. Surrounded by lakes, forest and farmland, Mangakino is a perfect all-round destination; great for those who seek peace and tranquility and also catering to the more adventurous who enjoy outdoor pursuits. Mangakino and Whakamaru have beautifully scenic lakes on offer, a result of the Hydro Dams which themselves are spectacular structures to see.

Although classed as a 9 hole course there is a separate 9th and 18th green with the other greens played twice to make up the 18 holes. For the men the course is 5600 metres par 72 and for the women 5140 metres par 73.  Green fees are $15 for 9 holes or $20 for 18 holes. Subscriptions are $275 per year for Men or Women .  New members and green fee players are always welcome.
