A great venue to relax in the sun, have a swim, and try wind surfing.It is a very popular venue for the many organised events during the summer months, and great for a walk on a wet and wild windy day.. Dog exercise: Summer:(Between Saturday of Labour Weekend to Easter Monday) Your dog is allowed under control off a leash when swimming or walking in the water before 9am or after 9pm. Keep your dog under control on a leash on areas of the beach not covered by water before 9am or after 9pm. Dogs are prohibited from 9am to 9pm and from safe swimming areas or lanes. Winter: (Tuesday after Easter Monday until Friday before Labour Weekend) Your dog is allowed under control off a leash at all times when swimming or walking in the water (excluding safe swimming areas or lanes where dogs are prohibited). Your dog is allowed under control off a leash on areas of the beach not covered by water before 10am or after 4pm.
