Mt Damper falls at 85m are said to be the tallest in the North Island. The viewing platform is a 20 minute walk from the road which can be reached from SH3 or as a diversion from the Forgotten World Highway (SH43). DOC warns," the track is clay based and could be quite slippery in adverse weather". Good advice; wear boots.
