Martins Bay is a sandy beach, with boat launching facilities, toilets, playground and lovely picnic areas.
There is plenty of parking and only a short walk to the beach. If a spot of exercise is on the agenda, there is also a walking track at the northern end of the beach that will take you through to Scandrett. A 40 minute walk, it's well worth exploring.
With great facilities, including a very popular Holiday Park, Martins Bay can get busy. But being an access point to the beautiful Kawau Bay and the recreational and fishing activities that it offers if you have a boat then this is definitely a place to visit.
Dog exercise: Dogs are prohibited headland to headland from 9am to 7pm between the 1st Sunday in October and the 3rd Sunday in March.
