Lincoln University

Said to be the third oldest agricultural school in the Commonwealth, Lincoln University was founded originally as the School of Agriculture in 1878. It became known as Canterbury Agricultural College then Lincoln College. It became a full University in 1989. As have other New Zealand Universities Lincoln has a contemporary art and sculpture collection distributed about its campus. It has also had a sculpture in residence programme associated with the School of Landscape Architecture.
