Hot n Cold Thermal Pool

Hot n Cold is a favourite with the locals for a variety of reasons. Some of them the same reasons that visitors may not enjoy it as much.

True to it's name, here we have a fusion of hot thermal water and a running stream. Regulars will tell you it is possible to find a spot that suits your temperature preference, and that nearby Kerosene Creek can be too warm. Collateral, like it or not is a distinct sulphur smell, a fair measure of grit in the swimwear, and a fair measure of those who prefer to go without swimwear.

Regardless of your angle, this is an utterly authentic experience. Look out for the guidelines that help you avoid amoebic meningitis (keep your head out).
