Longbeach is Dunedin's most popular climbing location. It offers a wide variety of grades, from the classic beginner climb 'Aleisha'. to test pieces like the famous 'Crime and Punishment'. This area has a mix of sport and traditional climbs and began life as a training ground for aspinring alpinists. There are also caves to explore,waves to ride and a long stretch of ceach to stroll.
