Milnthorpe

Milnthorpe sits at the entrance to the Parapara Inlet. It has a sculpture park with a number of walking trails and is the site of a reafforestation project on very poor soils. Non-native trees provide a tall cover for native species to take hold. A good place for a picnic and an estuary swim. Milnthorpe Beach is just one of several places around Golden Bay which are suitable for skinny-dipping.
