Mt Karioi Track

Within the Karioi Conservation Park the Mt Karioi Track is a steep way up Mt Karior. Reaching the lookout will take from 2.5 to three hours with an extra hour needed to reach the summit.
The views are spectacular on a fine day.

There is an alternative route to the top from a carpark to the south (The Wairake Track)
