Rhododendrons, camellias and azaleas are complemented by a significant collection of rare and endangered New Zealand native plants in these gardens created by Bernie and Rose Hollard and now managed by the Taranaki Regional council. There are two marked walks: Bernie's Walk and Rose's Walk. Main season: 1 September - 31 March, open daily 9 am - 5 pm. Admission is free.
