CLOSED DUE TO KAURI DIEBACK

A four hour circular tramp with some steep sections. It provides access to the largest remaining stand of mature kauri in the Auckland region. For details, including a map, see the Council Website. The circuit takes in some of the most magnificent trees in the Waitakeres and offers spectacular views. If you don't want to walk for four hours you can sample the early section of the trail in the lower part of the forest.
