There are several cafés nearby. Arrive by bus, ferry or road. There are several tracks in the bush, all part of East Harbour Regional Park, some linking with other bays along this coastline.
Katherine Mansfields famous short story was set "At the Bay", after spending time at her parent's Beauchamp Holiday Home.
